Principal
Mrs. Dennise Wooden
Hello Panther Family,
My name is Dennise Wooden. I am a passionate educator who is committed to empowering students and fostering their academic growth. My journey in education began in 2007 as a mathematics teacher at Rancier Middle School and Liberty Hill Middle School in Killeen, Texas. From there, I transitioned to a Campus Instructional Specialist role at Eastern Hills Middle School, where I played a pivotal role in shaping curriculum and instructional strategies to enhance student learning outcomes. Later, I served as an Assistant Principal at the same campus. In 2022, I embraced a new challenge as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Chaparral High School, where I played a key role in implementing innovative educational initiatives to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure their success. In the summer of 2023, I joined University High School as an Associate Principal.
In addition to my career in education, I am a proud Army spouse and daughter, as well as a 10-year Air Force veteran. My military background instilled a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and service, which I bring to my work in education each day.
My highest priority is ensuring the success of my students, and I remain dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others, both in the classroom and beyond.
